When draining JCB 760 Series Powershift gearboxes it is recommended that the oil is drained through the cover plate A to make sure that the debris collected in the transmission sump is flushed out. Draining oil through the sump plug will filter oil through the strainer and not flush out the debris.
WARNING!
Make the machine safe before getting beneath it. Lower
the attachments to the ground; engage the parking
brake; remove the starter key, disconnect the battery.

1 Park the machine on firm level ground, apply the park brake. Lower the loader arms, open the engine bonnet, raise the loader arms and fit the safety strut. Lower the excavator to the ground, switch OFF the engine and remove the starter key.
2 Apply the parking brake and disconnect the battery, remove the engine side panels.
3 Place a container of suitable size beneath the transmission to catch the oil.
4 Remove bolts B. Pull off cover plate A and gasket C, allow the oil to drain into the container. Be aware that the oil may be hot.
Note: When the cover is removed oil will gush out. Keep to one side when you remove the cover plate.
5 Fit cover plate A and a new gasket C. Apply JCB Threadlocker and Sealer to bolts B before fitting them. Torque tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (20.5 lbf ft.).
6 Unscrew and remove the filter D. Fit the new filter:
6.1 Smear seal E with transmission oil.
6.2 Screw the filter on until it just contacts the filter head.
6.3 Turn the filter at least another 3/4 of a turn.
7 Fill the system with new oil through the dipstick/filler F.
Do not fill past the top mark on the dipstick.
8 On completion check for oil leaks.
Note: Fit only a genuine supplied JCB filter, otherwise damage to the system may be incurred through contamination.

Setup requires USB connection
Make sure the USB cable is going all the way in.
Connect VCX BMW with vehicle and laptop via USB cable
Open VX Manager to check device is well connected
VX Manager detects serial number, firmware driver version etc, vcx se bmw is well connected.
Open EasyConnect program
Choose Type: REMOTE
Set IP: 192.168.8.1
Select ICOM Lock and press CHECK button
Voltage: 12.50V
Now can you start INPA software on desktop

1.Copy the "ICOM_Restore.bin†file to the USB flash drive
2.Disconnect the network cable from ICOM A
3.If ICOM A is placed in an OBD II jack of the vehicle, then pull it out (ICOM A must have status offâ€)
4.Connect the USB flash drive to ICOM A
5.This step has to be done in a maximum time of 5 sec or the update process will not start:
Press the reset button on the ICOM A and hold it pressed:


Connect ICOM A to the OBD II jack while the button is pressed (all LED will become red)
Release the reset button and then press it 3 times
The LEDs will flash red (if not, repeat the above steps)
The process is finished after 3 minutes
When the system LED is shining green, the update process is finished successfully
Disconnect to USB flash drive
6.Factory reset is done
7.Disconnect the ICOM A
8.Connect the LAN cable between the ICOM A and the network
9.Connect the ICOM A to a vehicle or external power supply
10.ICOM becomes visible now again in ISTA / work correctly again
Step-by-step procedure on BMW ICOM Upgrade:
1.First step is to make sure the LAN adapter is set to DHCP and is enabled, here is how to do it:
–Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button, and then
clicking Control Panel.in the search box, type adapter, and then, under
Network and Sharing Center, click View network connections.
–Right-click the connection that you want to change, and then click
Properties. If you’reprompted for an administrator password or
confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
–Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following
items, click either Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet

5.Select channels menu and click only once on the button available there:

6.Go to firmware update and update with ICOM-BootImage-01-11-01.bin,
then with ICOMApplicationImage-01-15-01.bin, don’t reboot between parts:
— at the image type we have selected System, now Browse for the
ICOM-BootImage-01-11-01.bin and click on "Send the file†button and wait

–click on Yes and wait

–now click on Update Firmware to go and update with ICOM-ApplicationImage-01-15-01.bin

— at Image type check the option called APPLICATION and Browse for
ICOM-ApplicationImage-01-15-01.bin and click on "Send the file†button
and wait

–click on Yes and wait

7.Reboot ICOM


8.After at least 2 minutes press on Home button and go to Update
Firmware and check to see the firmware versions for boot is 1.11.01 and
application is 1.15.01:

How to reflash MB SD C4 Plus without battery? You can edit Toolkit.ini to change the value of MinUpdateVoltageVbatt and MinUpdateVoltageVExt, and update the related files.
Step 1: Change MinUpdateVoltageVbatt/VExt Value
Right click the corresponding icon
Select ‘Goto BIN directory’
Then right click ‘Toolkit.ini’ and select ‘Editwith Notepad++’
You can see MinUpdateVoltageVbatt=7200 and MinUpdateVoltageVExt=11000.
Change these two values to 0
i.e MinUpdateVoltageVbatt=0
MinUpdateVoltageVExt=0
Remember to reboot the computer after changing.
Open ‘Administration’

It shows ‘the toolkit is being initialized.’
Step 2: Update 02 CSD_2_11.zip
Click 01/Cable Accessible>> Software update>> 02 CSD_2_11.zip>> Start
It will take approx 2 min to update the software.
The indicators light up during the process.

Many of us now have aPIWIS 2orPIWIS 3. I "assembled†my PIWIS 2 last year. I downloaded the software on-line (for free!) and then bought a clone Samtec interface from China. The program runs using VMWare on my old MacBook Pro. Windows XP is the operating system so everything is a bit clunky and slow but it works well enough and is perfect for my occasional diagnostic and coding needs! Best of all, my total build cost was crazy cheap! In fact, I sold my Durametric Pro cable after putting together the PIWIS because the PIWIS is a much more powerful tool!
My primarily motivation to get a PIWIS was to lower my car through the air suspension. I was initially looking at lowering using a module ($$$) or using links. I had read that lowering could be done with a PIWIS but there was very little DIY information on-line on how to do this. I have now figured out how to do this and will do up a "DIY Lowering with PIWIS†for the community once I get a chance.
When I first started using my PIWIS I got a low voltage warning even though my battery was fully charged (had been sitting for days on a Porsche Charge-o-mat Pro) and I had my 10A battery charger connected during my PIWIS session. A forum member on Rennlist with extensive PIWIS knowledge posted about the need for "clean†power while using the PIWIS. This ideas of "clean†power intrigued me. This lead me down a "rabbit holeâ€â€¦
I came across this Porsche After Sales Technical Bulletin confirming the need to use a battery charger with a fixed voltage between 13.5V – 14.5V while ECU programming on modern Porsche vehicles. Porsche recommended using a battery charger capable of putting out a minimum current of 90A to maintain this stable voltage. Few of us have chargers that can produce a STEADY 90A (not a one time boost charge).
So…VOLTAGE needs to stay constant (stable) while ECU coding. To accomplish this, amperage needs to fluctuate to maintain constant voltage. So, using a conventional battery charger that puts out constant amperage doesn’t fit the bill.
I then looked into commercially available power supply units (PSU) that supply constant voltage (i.e. "clean†power). The Schumacher INC100 fits the bill but is crazy expensive! I thought about buying one but, in the end, couldn’t justify the cost for my occasional DIY use.
Then I stumbled across a forum post on BoostAddict that described how to make your own PSU using a computer sever power supply. I went ahead and made my own and it works AMAZINGLY! I’ve used it for hours and the voltage remains rock solid stable with no fluctuation. I guess this shouldn’t be a surprise as it is designed to power computer systems. It is quiet, portable, doesn’t overheat, and it cost me $55 (CDN) all in!
FYI…I did not come up with this PSU build. I’m solely passing along the knowledge I gained as I chased the rabbit down the hole!

Procedures:
NOTICE
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing,adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.
Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
1.Operate the machine in order to warm the hydraulic oil.
2.Park the machine on level ground. Lower the attachment to the ground and apply slight downward pressure. Engage the parking brake and stop the engine.
3.The hydraulic tank is located on the right side of the machine. Press the button on the breaker relief valve (1) in order to relieve any tank pressure.
4.Remove the hydraulic tank filler cap (2) and the filler strainer (3). Wash the filler cap and the strainer in a clean, nonflammable solvent. Install the strainer.
5.Inspect the gasket on the hydraulic tank filler cap for damage. Replace the gasket, if necessary.
6.Remove the drain plug (5) from the bottom of the hydraulic tank. Wash the drain plug in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
7.The hydraulic tank is equipped with an ecology drain valve. Attach a hose to a 126-7914 Oil Drain Coupling. Install the threaded end of the coupling into the drain valve in order to unseat the internal drain valve.
NOTICE
Never start the engine while the hydraulic oil tank is being drained or while the hydraulic oil tank is empty.
Excessive wear and damage to the hydraulic components can occur.
8.Close the drain valve. Install the drain plug.
9.Change the hydraulic oil filter.
10.Fill the hydraulic tank with clean oil. Make sure that the oil level is at the "FULL†mark on the sight gauge (4). Install the filler cap.
11.Start the engine and run the engine for at least ten seconds. Then, stop the engine and add hydraulic oil to the tank until the oil level is at the "FULL†mark on the sight gauge. Install the
filler cap.
12.Start the engine and run the engine at low idle. Cycle the implements so that all hydraulic systems are filled with oil.
Note: If the alert indicator for a low oil level comes on, stop the engine and immediately add oil to the hydraulic tank. The oil level should not be below the suction ports in the hydraulic tank while the engine is running.
13.Add hydraulic oil to the tank until the oil level is at the "FULL†mark on the sight gauge.
14.Stop the engine. Top off the hydraulic tank so that the oil level is at the "FULL†mark on the sight gauge. Install the filler cap.
Note: The oil must be free of air bubbles. If air bubbles are present in the hydraulic oil, air is entering the hydraulic system. Inspect the hydraulic suction line and the hose clamps.
15.If necessary, tighten any loose clamps or any loose connections. Replace any damaged hoses.

TslaPRO is the first independent device on the market supporting diagnostics in TESLA model S, X and 3 so far.
You must be aware that the use of someTslaPRO functions in some countries may be prohibited and against the law.

Caterpillar electronic technician 2021B with WinFlash future is an updated version of the caterpillar dealer diagnostic software that can help technicians to diagnose existing and potential problems with their electronically controlled Caterpillar Engines and Machines.
Installation and activation are possible only with remote assistance using Teamviewer. We provide ONLY offline activation methods. We can also Offer Lenovo x220 loptop or Dell630 loptop which we will install the software on before shipping, so you can get it work directly after you receive it.
Microsoft ended extended support for Windows 7 as of January 2020. The Cat ET service tool no longer supports Windows 7 as of the 2020B release. The installation is still possible, but we’re not able to guarantee the stable work of 2020B or later versions.

Error When Launching Service Tool
There is a Microsoft issue with upgrading libraries during an installation involving certain versions of the C++ redistributable. After a successful service tool installation, when trying to run the service tool for the first time, one of the following errors may occasionally appear: "The entry point could not be located in api-ms-win-crt-runtime†or "The program can’t start because mfc140u.dll is missing from your computer.†If either of these messages is displayed, follow the procedure below. This procedure requires administrator rights.
1. Open the Start Menu
2. Click the Control Panel
3. Click the "Programs and Features†icon. If there is only a "Programs†icon, click the "Uninstall a Program†link next to the icon.
4. Find the program entry for either "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) – 14.0.24215″ or "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) – 14.0.242151″
5. If the specified program entry is not found, proceed directly to step 8
6. If the specified program entry is found:
a) Right-click the specified program entry
b) Click the Change menu item
c) Click the Repair button in the dialog that appears
d) Verify that the service tool runs properly
7. If the service tool still displays an error after the Repair operation:
a) Right-click the specified program entry
b) Click the Uninstall menu item
8. Click the link below to download an x86 version of the runtime package from Microsoft.

What’s New – 2021B
End of Support for Windows 8
Microsoft is ending extended support for Windows 8 as of January 2023. The service tool will be ending support for Windows 8 after the 2021C release.
Calibration Images
Images attached to calibration instructions will no longer need to be opened manually to be viewed by a technician. The service tool will now have split user interface windows for calibrations that display pictures. This will allow the technician to see the images without having to navigate away from the instructions. Images may be opened into individual windows and resized for better clarity. The user interface for calibrations that do not display pictures will remain unchanged.
Default PC Browser
The service tool will no longer automatically launch web pages in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Web pages will now launch in whatever application is configured as the default internet browser. Certain web pages require a specific browser and may launch in a different browser.

ECM Naming Changes
Certain ECMs connect to the service tool over two data links at the same time. The service tool shows a message popup when the ECM is only detected on one link. The service tool has been changed to add the text **INCOMPLETE** in the ECM name when the connection is incomplete. Service tool features that display a connection icon also use a new icon for an incomplete connection.

Configuring Cat Electronic Technician to use the Communication Adapter 3
For Cat Electronic Technician to work with the Communication Adapter 3, the settings must be changed to select the Communication Adapter 3 as the Communication Interface Device:
Step 1 Start Cat Electronic Technician.
Step 2 Click the Stop Connect button when it appears.
Step 3 Select the utility menu.
Step 4 Choose "Preferences > Modify…â€.
Step 5 Select the Communications tab.
Step 6 Select Cat Comm Adapter 3 (RP1210) and click OK.
NOTE: Because a growing number of products require multiple data link services, the "Enable Dual Datalink Service†checkbox has been pre-selected.
Servicing ECMs on more than one data link requires this checkbox to be enabled.
Failure to do this will result in undetected ECMs and reduced functionality.
